Live Safely At Home
Falling is a big concern when it comes to bathroom safety. Installing grab bars in the shower or tub, and by the toilet, will prevent individuals from grabbing onto the towel rack or soap dish, which are not stable enough to hold a person’s weight.
At Grab Bars of Greater Iowa our goal is to assist homeowners in remaining safe and independent living in their homes as long as possible.
I offer the following solutions to make homes safer and more accessible to an Aging in Place population:
Everyone’s bathroom is different, as are individual needs. We can look at your bathroom, discuss your requirements and suggest the best placement of grab bars.
Grab bars can’t be installed just anywhere. It is our goal to provide you with the best solution to make your bathroom a safer place.
Make your bathroom safe and stylish
Everyone wants their bathroom to be safe, but today they can be stylish and well designed as well. There are styles and colors to suit any budget and taste.
We can supply and install grab bars in just about every style and finish from a basic bar to custom designer bars.
As a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) we have been trained in:
• the unique needs of an older adult population
• aging-in-place home modifications
• common remodeling projects
• solutions to common barriers
